I had to blog about the Virginville Hotel, located in Virginville, PA. In PA, there are so many villages that have names that are off the beaten path. I have been going to this restaurant since I was a little girl. Because believe it or not, that is where my mother Theresa was born on a farm close by the hotel. The town has not changed for decades as long as I can remember but there are other houses that have been built in the surrounding areas. The service and food is delightful. It is decorated with pictures of George Washington all over the dining room. The bar is in a deep rich walnut wood color that is original from when the hotel opened up. They have rooms upstairs that people can ask for to have private meals with your family. So if you are looking for another PA Dutch meal that is just off of Route 222….this is a nice place to go. They serve traditional dishes but also have a few gourmet things for special each day.
