Happy New Year!

What a year this has been with many ups and downs. I am sorry that I have not blogged for a while but I have been extremely busy. This season I have taken on any job that has come to me, because, last season I lost money from jobs that fell through as many other people. So needless to say, I am teaching 29 classes a week which makes my head spin but it is really terrific. I am in all types of teaching situations from group instrument classes to teaching 5 year olds besides my private practice.

I have been one of the 10,000 people who got bed bugs in NYC. YIKES! What an awful experience that I would not wish this on anyone. I have had to throw out my bed and sofa. I am blessed with my friend Evelyn Dunn Steiner. She is starting her own interior decorating business and she is doing my apartment over again. This past summer I had my place painted with colors and now getting a face-lift of organization and feeling so happy and creative in my apartment. I have been blessed to be composing new material it is just flowing out of me. I have been rehearsing the band and just seeing what works. My goal is to compose 30 songs and pick what would be a great CD. So far I am at six new pieces and I just feel like I cannot stop.
